Dear PFT Members,

Please see the information below and attached about the Anne Gillespie Innovative Learning Grant offered by Eta Chi, the Poway chapter of DKG, the International Society for Key Women Educators. Anne designed and presented innovative lessons to engage her students and enhance student learning during her 32-year teaching career with PUSD, and this grant was named by Eta Chi in her honor.

Qualified full-time TK-12 PUSD applicants can now apply for funding of up to $1,000 for innovative teaching and learning projects in their classrooms and libraries. Eta Chi offers this grant annually to provide funding for projects that expand women educator’s knowledge and expertise while enhancing the learning experiences of students and the learning community.

The Application, TIPS, Scoring Rubric, and examples of previous recipients are available on the Eta Chi website or the attached flier's QR Code.

The deadline for application submission is October 25, 2025. The recipient will be notified by November 3, 2025. The grant must be implemented during the 2025-2026 school year.
