PFT Compensation Structure |

In the Representative Council meeting of May 2006, the Site Representatives formally approved compensation schedules for all PFT officers and staff personnel. They are set forth below.
Salary Structure for PFT President:
The compensated workday is 8 hours and the compensated work year is 223 days. The salary is proportional to the base from E-23 on Salary Schedule I. Step increases of $1000 every 2 years to a maximum 8 steps. Step credit of $500 per year given for previous union staff experience.
Salary Ranges from $118,371 to $126,371 after 16 years in office (2007/08 salary range). This salary range does not reflect the 2010-2011 & 2011-2012 salary rollback.
The portion of this salary paid by the PFT known as the Reimbursement Cost, ranges from $86,827 to $96,654 for corresponding salary ranges.
The current salary of President Candy Smiley is $115,141
Salary Structure for PFT Staff:
The compensated workday is 8 hours and the compensated work year is 195 days. The salary is proportional to the base from E-23 on Salary Schedule I. Step increases of $500 per year to a maximum of 8 steps. Step credit of $500 per year given for previous union staff experience.
2007-08 salary ranges from $103,508 to $107,508 after 8 years employed in the position. This salary range does not reflect the 2010-2011 & 2011-2012 salary rollback.
The portion of this salary paid by the PFT known as the Reimbursement Cost, ranges from $70,521 to $74,521 for corresponding salary ranges).
The current salary of Director Kelly Logan is $99,510 and Director Joe McEachron is $99,010.
Stipend Structure for Executive Council other than PFT President or Staff:
The stipend for officers other than the PFT President shall be $5,000. Neither the President, nor staff members (Directors) shall be compensated for participation in the Executive Council.
