Qualifications:
   Dependents of CFT members (if you are a member of PFT, your dependents qualify)
     
Amount:   Students enrolled in four-year courses of study are eligible for $3000 scholarships; those enrolled in two-year courses of study are eligible for $1000.
     
Deadlines:   High School: December 15 / Cont. College: June 15

  The AFT awards four $8000 scholarships to high school seniors who are dependents of AFT members, as well as 10 continuing education grants of $1000 to AFT members.
     
Deadline:   April 26

 

Union Plus Scholarship Program

Qualifications:        Current and retired members of unions participating in any Union Plus program, their spouses and their dependent children (as defined by IRS regulations).  At least one year of continuous union membership by the applicant, applicant's spouse or parent (if applicant is a dependent).  
     
Amount:   Amounts range from $500 to $4,000.
     
Deadline:   January 31
